new pet owners

hi! i've never had a pet in my life, my husband had one growing up (long long time ago)...we have 1 teenage son at home now, i will soon be an empty nester with no job and a husband who travels...the cavapoo seems to fit our bill...small, doesn't shed, and adorable

i would appreciate any comments/advice...good, and bad

also, why are some listed on line as close to $2,000 and some are as low as $500?

I would totally get another. Even my husband who is a lab guy would tell you he is smitten with our little gal. They are loving, easy to train, and , as you said, adorable. We've even talked of getting another in a few years. Good luck with your decision.
