Heidi, any good dry dog food formulated for small breed puppies or dogs is fine. I try not to raise sensitive dogs. I go from one good food to another without gradually changing them over and have had no problems. I do add some decent canned food to the dry food in the morning and leave the puppy food out all day. I feel like that keeps them from obsessing about food and eating everything at once or fighting with other dogs.
