Yes he did break his leg. He was 7 weeks old and jumped from the breeder's hubby's arms and broke two bones in his foot. He was splinted for 12 days. We got him a week after we were meant to. He was 9 weeks when we brought him home and we've had him for around 2 weeks now. He just had his second vaccination today and the vet is happy with him. He's gained 400grams in the last week!

I'm so glad it's not just me who is impatient when waiting for a new puppy. We picked him out when he was 4 days old so 8 weeks are just dragging by so slowly. We get regular updates and photo's from his breeder, but time seems to have really slowed down for us.

Charlie looks adorable. We will have to keep updates as they get older to see how they are doing!

I just got your message-- did you get a puppy?! My little guy is Mox and he is just the best. From the looks of the comment, it sounds like you're going to get two puppies-- a great idea! My brother and his wife picked up a half sister of Mox about a year or so after I got Mox-- it's fun watching the two of them play! Can't wait to look at your page more and see your new pups! You'll love them to pieces. They are great great dogs-- great temperments, everyone stops me on the street to admire Mox (and he's 3). Congrats!

Hi Nicky, I love Northville and miss it alot. Although it has changed so much since I moved to Ohio. I also lived in Walled Lake after I graduated from High School and then South Lyon. Finally landed in Ohio! I love our little Maddie...she is soo cuddly and loving. Training with her has been very easy as long as I keep her off carpeting! LOL! I am actually planning to go "home" this weekend to Northville to visit family and friends. Have a great day!

For what it's worth and even though the choice was really hard I honestly think you chose the right puppy for you family. He has such a sweet looking face and I am sure a personality to match. With your lifestyle one puppy is definately a little easier . Remember at least 2-3 week he will have someone to hang with.

NIcky, I was the same way. Went to pick up the one we ordered and could not decide between him and his brother..... ended up with both. Husband not so happy at first.... son ecstatic! It was hilarious watching them play together as puppies (still is) and they kept each other company when we are at work, but do not be fooled.... it is double the work. Double the grooming, double the training, double the poop! Potty training, which has normally been pretty easy with dogs in the past, was difficult. I didn't always know who to blame for accidents or chewed up toys (or socks, or shoes..... you get the idea) In the end, we are glad we did it (including my husband) They are like our second and third children and I couldn't part with either of them. Each has a unique personality with his own quirks. Be ready for a busy first year...... good luck!

I am totally excited and a little nervous!! Haven't had a puppy in a long time. I better keep reading that book I bought. We are talking about what we should name the puppies now. We are liking ODIE, COSBY, CHARLIE, OSCAR. ALL fun decisions. I'm sure Calvin will love his half brothers. :)

I do not have a Cavapoo puppy but we are thinking about getting one. A few weeks ago we had to put down our Bichon Roscoe. He had a large mass in his chest cavity. He became sick all of a sudden and we had to say Good bye to our beloved almost 13 year old furry friend :(
We are hoping to get a new puppy in the spring and I am very interested in the Cavapoo. I love looking at everyones pictures of their dogs!
